Focus on a mandatory field

All,

I have set a few fields mandatory on my request type. When an end-user forgets to fill in a mandatory field, the system will gently inform the end-user of this. Is it all possible to have the focus then set to that mandatory field, in stead of the end-user having to scroll and search for that field?

Thanks for any feedback!

Re: Focus on a mandatory field

yes, using the UI Rules in Request type you should be able to highlight or bold or dispay a field prompt in the specific color that you want like Red.

Re: Focus on a mandatory field

Does this mean, when the user FORGETS to fill in the field, that, after the message, the forgotten field will be highlighted, i.e. the enduser can immediately fill it in?

Cheers

Re: Focus on a mandatory field

IFAIK, You can use setFieldStyle("className")
in the rules.
className is the class name specified in the RequestRulesUserCSS.css (located in the $PPM_HOME/server/PPM_INST/deploy/itg.war/web/knta/crt/css)

Hope it helps
