Field not populating after rule triggered

In 7.1 we had fields that were only visible and editable to the PPM Administrator.

These fields were populated with the contents of another field that was triggered by a rule by normal users.

In 7.5 however, this no longer works, the same fields that are only visible and editable to PPM Administrator will not populate when the rule is triggered. They only populate when the field is visible to all users.

Does anyone know why this now happens? Have HP implemented some security changes?

I don't think PPM works this way, I am not sure.
Can you kindly attach the snap of Rule because PPM 7.5 have some extra features, This may be due to that.

The rule is a simple copy rule:

SELECT
'[REQD.VP.TASK_NAME]',
'[REQD.P.TASK_NAME]'
FROM
dual

I hope the logic is 'SQL Default', Kindly use Parameter first

SELECT
'[REQD.P.TASK_NAME]',
'[REQD.VP.TASK_NAME]'
FROM
dual

Also try to remove the field security and test for the rule firing once.

After that apply the field security and try again.
Just trail and error methods...
