Field becomes blank after submission of the request..
We have a request type in demand management. We are facing an issue with that: When a user submits the Request then one of the fields becomes blank after submission of the request.
For Ex: At the time of submiting the Request, user fills the Field1 "IT-Team" then field2 is automatically populated as Mohit Agrawal (Acc. to SQL RULE)....The request is successfully submitted, but the Field2 (Mohit Agrawal) becomes blank.
This request is now basically supposed to go in the queue of person assigned in Field2...When Mohit opens the request then all the available action buttons are avilable but he cannt see his name in the Field2 of the request.

If the user Mohit is able to see the actions buttons that means that the field2 value was stored in the DB and the token was able to load that value in cache.
So, please check that you are using a token in the workflow step security for 1st step (or in this case the step where Mohit user is seeing the action buttons) and not Mohit user directly as the WF security value.
Then check the request type, as Randall mentioned, if there is another on page load rule clearing the field2 value.
