Field Dependency

Can we display "field A (Auto complete list)" value in "field B (Text field)" only if "field A" has changed more than once in the last 7 days else "field B" should be 0

Re: Field Dependency

Hum.... Create an Hidden date field X with default date as 1/1/2010 (If fields with default date cannot be created, We have do to things with a slight twist.)

Rule 1: update Field B on change of Field A, But in this Rule's Query you have to update B=0 when Date diff(sysdate and X)>7 days

Difference of sysdate and 'date in X' < 7 days then update B=1

Rule 2: Once your A is Updated, Update X with sysdate with a rule.

Please let me know if it does not work.

Re: Field Dependency

Hi Mahendran,

Thanks for the update.

My requirement is different, I need to display "Field A" value in "Field B"

I.e. If "Field A" value is changed more than once E.g. from "WW to XX", "XX to YY" and "YY to ZZ" within 7 days, then "Field B" value should be "ZZ".

However, if "Field A" value is changed only once from "WW to XX" or if this field is not changed within 7 days, then "Field B" value should be "0".
