Drop Down Validation

I want to set up a drop down list that will populate with certain information based on a selected value in another drop down list. How do I do this?

Re: Drop Down Validation

You can use a Drop-down validation validated by SQL that includes logic based on the token of the field you're dependent on.

Re: Drop Down Validation

Sure. The following gets a list of contacts whose company is the same as that selected on the current request:

select contact_id, full_name, contact_id, phone_number, contact_id, email_address from KCRT_CONTACTS where UPPER(full_name) like UPPER('?%') and enabled_flag = 'Y' and (full_name like upper(substr('?',1,1)) || '%' or full_name like lower(substr('?',1,1)) || '%') and (company = '[REQ.COMPANY]' or company is null) order by 2

You can see others by using the following SQL to find validations that reference a request token in their SQL:

select VALIDATION_NAME,VALIDATION_SQL
from KNTA_VALIDATIONS
where VALIDATION_SQL like '%[REQ%]%'
