I have one question on Document Clean up service that how it functions exactly means on which criteria documents will be removed from server directory. As per the documentation, the documents will be removed if they don't have any link to the entities in the tool. But faced an issue that after running this service, few of the requests were doesn't opened properly. References section shown an unknown error.
Need help on this as server directory reaching maximum size to avoid the errors which faced last time to clean the server directory to reduce the size.
I would like to clean only those documents which were not attached to the entities like requests or projects etc either in requests references section or any attachment field.
The description you mentionned is correct: Documents should not be cleaned up if they belong to an existing request; only documents not belonging to any existing PPM entity will be deleted by the PPM Document Cleanup Service.
So if you are certain that the document cleanup was the cause of the requests references error, you might want to contact HP Support in order to investigate what happened.
