Disable PPM user from back-end (DB)

Hi,

Is there a way to disable users from backend.  I need to disable huge number of users from PPM.  Its pain to do it from Workbench.  It will be great if I can disable the users by running SQL script.

Regards,

Akif

Sure, just give them an end_date in knta_users.

also, it is very important to refresh the user cache using kCacheManager - some of the changes in user information are not picked up from the database until the user cache is refreshed.

Re: Disable PPM user from back-end (DB)

Guys,

Is there a way to end a user session - kick a user out.

If a user logged into the system, and we set end date to expire (disabling user) the user still able to navigate PPM and make changes - the user is not kicked out from the system. The change takes affect only after he logs out (or times out).

Any idea on how to force the user session end?

Thanks,

Dmitry

Do you have SSO enabled? If yes then you can work with network team to force the terminal to get logged off. PPM does not provide any way to force the user session to terminate. SSO timeout can help kill the session after inactivity.
