Hello. There are two documents in the documentation library on your PPM instance with detailed descriptions on how to do that. The "HP Demand Management Configuration Guide" explains how to create requests and workflows and the "Tracking and Managing IT Demand Configuration Guide" shows how to use requests to track and assign (IT) demand using requests. Have a look at the seeded request types, there should be something like "application defect" or similar. This may be the right point to start. Make a copy of it and then customize the copy to your needs. Regards Sascha
It means basically, creating a new Request Header (e.g. named as Defect Request Header), new Request Type (e.g. named as Defect) and a new Workflow for that (e.g. named as Defect Workflow). So you start with gathering what fields you need capture and what approval cycle will be required for the defect tracking. Then as any other request type in the system, this request type will be configured, which can then used for entering defects and tracking it from there.
