We are using PPMC 9.14 and need assitance with a wierd problem we are currently facing.
The PPMC tool suddenly have a Lag and Errors while logging in between 3:00 to 6:00 PM. When looked at Server log(for past 2 days), the log shows the below error at the same time period.
2013/11/14-03:36:20.091 : Database connection lost
however when enquired with the DBA on any such issues at DB End, DB Log does not show any signs of disconnection happening at that time, rather no connection lost at all.
if at all the similar issues are faced by you and issue was resolved, please reply back with details to help in resolving our problem.
You could be seeing network connectivity or capacity issues between the PPM server and the database server. That would cause problems for PPM and the database would never know.
