Critical Path

Dear Community,

to calculate Project Plan Critical plan we need to do it Manually via going to Workbench-->Project-->Calculate critical path.

Question:
- shall we recalculate Critical path manualy every time Project Plan is updated or it is kept up to date automatically?

We use PPM v6.0 (Mercury)

Thank you!

Re: Critical Path

Alex,

The critical path is calculated after scheduling the work plan. If you have made
changes to the work plan, you should reschedule it in order to obtain an accurate
critical path.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks!

Re: Critical Path

There are 2 different actions available in PPM 6.0:
1. To reschedule the project - by pressing "Schedule Project" button.
2. To calculate Critical Path - by going to Workbench-->Menu-->Project-->Calculate critical path.

Question is:
When I press "Schedule Project" button is critical path recalculated automatically or I need to go to Menu and select "Calculaqte critical path"?
