Changing Project status from Pending Closure to Active

One of the users accidently clicked ¿Close Project button and the project went to Pending Closure. Now the team wants to make it ¿Active¿ again. Can you please advise the steps to follow for that?

Hi Saiskt

Please find attached the query to move request from one step to another within same WF.
I think it will solve your problem.

Or, if you dare to do so, set the re-open step in the workflow definition to the step you want to go back to. Cancel the project, then reopen it.

Re: Changing Project status from Pending Closure to Active

Hi,

Thanks for the solution.

Is there any other alternative solution apart from having to create a workflow step.

Please advice.

Re: Changing Project status from Pending Closure to Active

You don't have to create a new workflow step, you just need to chose an existing one on the first tab of the workflow definition. It's right below the selection of what the initial workflow step is supposed to be.
After that, go back to the project details page of your project, scroll down to the status section, click the button in the bottom right of that section.
When the project is cancelled at the same position in the status section you will find the re-open button. This will bring the project to the pre-defined workflow step.
