Change/Override Project Status from script

Hi,

One of our Process in PPM 7.5 SP6 does not follow OOB Project Status. The end user selects Overall Project Status from the drop down e.g Red, Green or Yellow. Due to this many out of box portlets shows misleading Project status color. I wanted to check if there is any ways through which we can write a script in SQL or user some token to change/override the project status color

Thanks
Gunjan

Re: Change/Override Project Status from script

Hi Gunjan,

As far as I understood, you added an field with drop down validation to the project request type that contain Red, Green or Yellow values.

If I understood well;

Color indication is only in Project health field that a lots of project portlets use it. Because of that why don't you manually change project health instead of add a custom field. You could say your customers "hereafter project status change from project health manually". You can configure it; close all project health calculations and check "Project Health>Allow Project Participants to override the project's calculated health" in project settings.

I hope you could help.
