Re: Can we change the notification sender name for an instance

Is it Request type Notification triggered from Workflow?

Edit the Workflow step and go to the Notification tab and in the message tab see the 'From' area.

Re: Can we change the notification sender name for an instance

We use below command

ksc_store ASSIGNED = [SYS.USER_ID],"[SYS.FULL_NAME]"

Try to use User ID or full name in the Email trigger.

Also Kindly check whether "[SYS.EMAIL_ADDRESS]"

Just trail and error.

Re: Can we change the notification sender name for an instance

"[SYS.EMAIL_ADDRESS]" this does not work. but "[SYS.USER_ID]" directly under user defined token for user id works!!

Re: Can we change the notification sender name for an instance

Hi Phanishwar,

The correct way you have to do it is to change the notification sender at the server.conf file as follows:

1.- Stop your instance
2.- Open for edit the /server.conf file.
3.- Set the next variable:
com.kintana.core.server.EMAIL_NOTIFICATION_SENDER=PpmProd@cisco.com
4.- From command line go to /bin and run sh kUpdateHtml.sh.
5.- Start your instance.

Thats all.
