Can't add task to work plan

Dear all,

 

I have following issue. I am assigned to task and I am PM in that project. (work plan was imported form MS Project...) When I want to add tasks to my time sheet, I search for the project a no tasks were found.

 

I am PM on similar project with the same settings and I can add its task to time sheet...

 

I have no idea what is wong. Only difference which I can see between these two projects is that in the working one, I am also Summary Task Owner, and that which is not working properly, have no summary task owner. Maybe something was wrong during MS Project synch?

What method are you using to add the task to a time sheet? Add Task? Suggested Items list?

 

Are the project's Cost & Effort settings adjusted to use Time Management?

 

Is the workplan set to Active status?

Hello Eric,

 

I have these Project Settings:

 

Cost and Effort

Track time at the: Summary tasks at hierarchy level: 5

Allow the following to report time on this project: All resources

After a task is complete, allow time to be logged: Do not allow

 

MS Project Integration

Integration mode for the project work: Control is shared

Transfer actuals information: Actual Efforts

 

Work Plan is set to Active.

 

I tried to search for tasks via 'Add Task' in the time sheet, no results. I am also using My Tasks portlet, where are these tasks listed but without possibility to click on the number where I fill values for actual effort - there is no number and it is blank. (You can see it on the printscreen in the row 2 and 3)

 

 

 

 

It is so weird.
