Backgroud Services and User

Hi,

I have a question about, What's the best way to monitor background services and active users in PPM?

Any Idea?

Best Regards.

Re: Backgroud Services and User

Do you want to track the issue or want to tack the user activity.

For Service node, you can enable below parameter in server.conf

ENABLE_BACKGROUND_SERVICE_MONITOR=True

This will highligh in Service audit page, if any service has any issue. Secondly you can look at treshold and server (service) logs in service node.

Cheers..

Re: Backgroud Services and User

Hi Kean,

You can use the kRunServerAdminReport.sh script to get a summary of current activity on the system and this script is located in <PPM_HOME>/bin.

You can also access this functionality through the PPM Workbench. To access and run these diagnostic reports from the PPM Workbench, on the shortcut bar, select Sys Admin > Server Tools. Selectthe report you want to run..

For ex: Sys Admin > Server Tools > Server Logon Report to get the total active users on the system.

Thanks!!
