Application Code Tokens in Validation

I have created a new validation for a package line parameter (SQL driven auto-complete). I'd like to make the list driven by the application code selected for the package line, but none of the tokens from the builder work. I've tried

[PKGL.APP_NAME]
[PKGL.APP_CODE]
[PKG.PKGL.APP_CODE]
[PKG.PKGL.APP_NAME]

and none of them evaluate when you click the auto-complete.

This is v7.5p1, but I don't expect that this would have changed much in any recent patch. Anyone see this before and/or have a workaround?

Re: Application Code Tokens in Validation

Can you share the SQL?

I am not exactly sure... but I hope these tokens are read only, you cannot explicitly assign value to it.

Re: Application Code Tokens in Validation

You are correct that I'm not trying to assign values to these tokens.

I was trying to do:

select xddt.data_source_name a,xddt.data_source_code p_data_source_code, xddt.data_source_name
from xdo_ds_definitions_b@[SOURCE_ENV.AC.OA_APPS_DB_LINK] xddb, xdo_ds_definitions_tl@[SOURCE_ENV.AC.OA_APPS_DB_LINK] xddt
where xddb.data_source_code = xddt.data_source_code
and xddb.application_short_name = upper('[PKGL.APP_CODE]' )
order by data_source_name

Trying any of the tokens in the where clause resulted in a SQL message (you can see that the token is not replaced in the resulting SQL).

Re: Application Code Tokens in Validation

Jason, have you tried

[PKGL.P.APP_NAME] or [PKGL.VP.APP_NAME]?
//Add this to "OnDomLoad" event
