Any way to stop sending workflow reminders after a fixed number of days ?
We have certain workflow steps configured to send a reminder notification every 2 days. But there may be some requests that are put on hold for a business reason and do not move forward in the workflow. This results in the reminders to keep going out though everyone knows it cannot be moved forward. Is there any way to stop sending the workflow reminders after , lets say, 2 reminders are sent ? One way is to setup another workflow step to put the request on hold, but if there are reminders configured on every step, then every step needs to have an "on hold" step or all steps need to have a transition to the "on hold" step, and this makes the workflow look cluttered. Wondering if anyone has a better idea of achieving this.

Hi, There is no direct easy way of acheiving this.
If you are using PPM 7.5 then there is a option to count when the request pass through a specific transistion. You can have the mail trigger as a different step and There are provisions to count number of times the transition passed that way. If the condition not satisfied you routue a alternative path.
