All, Enabled, Restricted, Restricted Enabled validation differences
Hi, I’m not able to find any HP documentation that describes the difference between the ‘Enabled’, ‘Restricted Enabled’ , ‘All’ or ‘Restricted’ validations.
Some of the descriptions are too similar to tell the difference. For instance, there are 5 Contact Name validations for which 3 of the descriptions mention the ‘Company’ field. We were having trouble using one that apparently needed the ‘Company’ field even though it was not required in the request type. This was fixed by using another validation but we’d like to know more about the uses of these validations for future reference.
The 5 Contact Name validations are: 1. CRT – Contact Name – All 2. CRT – Contact Name – Enabled 3. CRT – Contact Name – Restricted 4. CRT – Contact Name – Restricted Enabled 5. CRT – Contact Name by Company – Enabled
So, if anyone has any additional information that would be appreciated.

1. All contacts 2. All contacts marked as enabled 3. All contacts that are in your (user's) same company 4. All enabled contacts that are in the same company as the Company field on the request, *OR* All enabled contacts if the user has 'override participant restriction' access grants. 5. Same as #4 without the *OR* part.
