Ran into an issue when using the AOL:Quick Code Object Type for a migration. It seems if there is a lookup that has the same name but is located under 2 different app codes, the object type migration will erase one of the lookups. For example, We have two XXFND_CHARACTER_SET lookup types. One is with the FND module , the other one with the XXAP module. We have found that after migrating using the object type that the lookup is there in the FND_LOOKUP_TYPES table, but all language translations have been removed from the FND_LOOKUP_TYPES_TL table. This also causes the FND_LOOKUP_TYPES_VL view to not return the XXAP type because it doesn’t have matching language pair in the “_TL” table. It seems that the AOL:QuickCode ITG object removes all records from the FND_LOOKUP_TYPES_TL table where the lookup name is the one in the migration regardless of the application id (VIEW_APPLICATION_ID)and then creates only the ones that are migrated. Has anyone experienced this before and is there a solution.
