i previously used nnm7x. there we used ovtopofix for managing and unamanaging.

Any help will be appreicated.

Hi Tanish,

Just open the particular node by doublicking on the node on map or inventory nodes or whatever.

You will find the options on the left side that is manage, unmanage, out of serivce and all.

You can do the changes in that..

Cheers..!

Hi Arun,

Thanks a lot for your response.

what i am looking for is from command line, rather than doing it in gui.So i can reduce the manual work.

Cheers!

Tanish,

You can try the below:

To search for a node:
./nnmtopodump.ovpl -type node | grep <nodename>

To delete a node:
./nnmnodedelete.ovpl -node <nodename>

To load nodes via seed file:
./nnmloadseeds.ovpl -f /tmp/seeds_to_load.txt -t <tenant group>

For more commands you can refer the reference pages doc for NNMi.

Re: managing nodes in NNMi

searched a lot for changing a node status from managed to not managed or out of service.

i guess in NNM 7.x series we have option ovtopofix.ovpl ..unable to find similar command in nnmi  :(

Hi Tanish,

Probably you're looking for nnmmanagementmode.ovpl. Regards,
