Do you have any idea on how to calculate interface utilization of full duplex interface ?
In NNMi help page for half duplex the formula given is
((((ifInOctets + ifOutOctets) * 8) / ifSpeed) * 100)
Also i am finding myself in a diffficult position to insert operators. Any tips ?

i am totally fed up by creating */*/. Not sure why hp made this too complex to create expressions.
The tutorial says aboout only the first part and i succed in that. but still unable to derive the full formula last part killed me.
(((In + Out) * 8 ) / ( 2 * Speed)) * 100)
full formula (((In + Out) * 8 ) / ( 2 * Speed)) * 100) / ( SysUpTime * 0.01 )
some how i made this formula
((((ifinOctets + ¡fOutOctets) * 8)/ ((240000 * 2) * 100))/ (sysUpTime * 0.01))
Now my question here is i have to manually give the ifspeed.
what is the unit of measurement for ifspeed in the if%util mib expression.
say for example if i want utilization for 24Mbps do i need to replace ifSpeed with 24000000 ?
The ifSpeed is in terms of bit per second. So yes.
