Unable to capture HTML5 events with VuGen 11.5

Hi,

VuGen: 11.5 version

Protocol: Web HTTP/HTML & TruClient Ajax - Firefox

Application Type: Web (Java & HTML5)

Browser: Firefox 11

Problem: Unable to capture HTML5 events.

Tried:

1. URL/HTML mode of Web

2. Tried with all type of port mapping setting

3. Tried with TruClient - Ajax - Firefox protocol

Kindly suggest me the solution.

Regards,
Gagandeep Malviya

Re: Unable to capture HTML5 events with VuGen 11.5

Is your application compatible only with Firefox 11?

What is the problem you are facing with TruClient FF?

Does the application works with TruClient FF?

Hi Madan,

Is your application compatible only with Firefox 11?

Answer: Yes

What is the problem you are facing with TruClient FF?

Anwser: Events are stopped recording when HTML5 page comes.

Does the application works with TruClient FF?

Anwser: Yes, rest of the functionality is working fine. Except the pages which contains HTML5.

LoadRunner 11.5 uses Firefox version 8.0. Please check whether your application works in Firefox 8.x outside of LoadRunner.

Re: Unable to capture HTML5 events with VuGen 11.5

Hello,

Do you mean that no events are counted in the recording toolbar when the HTML5 page is shown?

Are you sure that there is network traffic when this page is shown?

What kinds of elements does the HTML5 page contain?

Is it possible for us to see th source code for it?

Thanks and regards,
