Looking for some info. I have been told that think time is excluded from time related calcualtions but I'm not sure and looking for some insight.
Right now the runtime settings have "Replay think time" and "As Recorded" selected in VuGen.
I have a transaction thatnormally takes 2 seconds to exit but is taking 20 seconds so it apears that think time is being included.
You can configure the script runtime settings to replay think time or to not replay think time. You can change the script code to place the think times outside the transactions.
In the controller during load test the transaction timings show the response times including think time (if replayed and if inside transactions).
In the analysis tool you can exclude the think times from the response times to have the real server response times.
As Thomas mentioned you can get the exact responstimes by execluding think times from the Analysis component, there is a option if you want to include think times in your LR generated report.
use filter-> uncheck tt option in the analysis file.
