ITSMA ChatOps Version 1.20 Beta has been released

Dear everyone,

Thanks for joining the ITSMA ChatOps forum!

We have released ChatOps version 1.20 Beta and several new features are ready. Access to HPE Live Network for detail.

In previous release, you can be automatically invited in a Slack war room for a major incident, retrieve incident detail, update incident and attach conversation to incident from Slack war room.

Now you can Create incident, Assign/Reassign incident, Resolve incident and Add activity log to incident from Slack war room.

Feel free to use the ITSMA ChatOps solution and provide feedback, and not hesitate to contact us in case you need help.

Sounds interesting.

Can one installation be used for both Tools (UCMDB and ServiceManager) ?

Hi,  thanks for the question!

Right now, every ChatOps solution requires a respective Hubot instance setup, but it doesn't take up much footprint. In other words, we have separate chatbots for various applications, like SM and UCMDB. In the near future, we will consider to have a single chatbot to do everything across applications.

Having said that, we have consistent command languages designed across chatbots. Secondly, we also allow the communication between chatbots, for example, SM chatbot can pass necessary info to UCMDB chatbot.
