11 Customer Breakout Sessions
Nothing beats hearing tales from the trenches. Your peers will take the stage at breakout sessions to talk about cloud-based service provisioning, server automation, IT operations orchestration and compliance, and automated application release management.
Some of the sessions about automation and orchestration include:
Verizon built their Sarbanes-Oxley and Payment Card Industry compliance programs around automation tools. They will talk about how to use automation for compliance, the processes it used and common pitfalls to avoid.
Depository Trust & Clearing Corp. will reveal four automation use cases that delivered massive time savings, decreasing time-to-resolution from 44 hours to six minutes, for example, and reducing server build time from 65 to five days. A must-attend for anyone implementing automation.
DirecTV will present on how it uses cloud-based service provisioning to manage mobile application authentication during its peak-demand NFL’s Sunday Kickoff
Five customers will also share stories about their transformation to cloud service.
MSP Alestra built a new service offering and dramatically reduced the time and effort required to provision its service, while ensuring it adheres to external compliance standards and remains secure with the latest patches.
Fox Entertainment will showcase its impressive 21st century cloud that delivers IaaS and PaaS including a customer portal that reduced server provision time to 15 minutes; integrated configuration management databases and service request fulfillment systems; and relationship-mapping between servers, applications and business services.
And finally, don’t let anyone say HP doesn’t drink its own champagne! HP IT created its new Database Service on Demand offering. A self-service framework that embodies flexibility, agility, speed and transformation, the service provisions and manages technologies including SQL-Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, MariaDB and Vertica. Come find out how they did it!
Other companies offering their insights in breakout sessions include Allstate, Sentry Insurance, Mass Mutual, Mentor Graphic, and United Health Group. You are sure to learn something valuable for your own organization.
