We are the Customer Success team focused on making sure you are successful with HPE IT Operations Management (ITOM) products and solutions. Many of you know us for driving Get-Well plans to solve immediate issues, or leading product roadmap sessions so you know what’s coming in the future, or discussing how you can get more value out of HPE products.
At this year’s Discover Vegas event, you will have a number of opportunities to meet with the Customer Success team and hear from other customers on their experiences. Your first stop should be joining ITOM Insiders, an online experience that will complement your time at Discover. Then be sure to come by Booth #445 and see how we can help you achieve more value from your use of ITOM products, as well as Booth #438 to learn how IT4IT™ is the accelerator for your Cloud, DevOps, Data Center Automation and Service Broker initiatives. On Tuesday afternoon, you will have a unique opportunity to share your experiences and get some tips for success at our Customer Success Roundtable. Finally, we will wrap things up at our VIP celebration on Wednesday, an exclusive party for ITOM Insiders members only.

Before you get to Vegas, you will want to be sure to join ITOM Insiders, our advocacy program for customers, partners, and employees. ITOM Insiders is an online community where you can connect with your peers on best practices, get news and early access to product innovations from HPE Software, and speak on your own experiences using ITOM products. The program utilizes gamification-based techniques that give you the opportunity to earn points for participating in activities which most align with your interests.
For Discover Vegas, we will have a special online experience for individuals attending the event. The fun starts before the event, with several pre-Discover challenges and rewards even before you arrive. Other activities will be published to enhance your time at the conference, including information sessions and booths that may interest you. At the event, there will be a special scavenger hunt designed for the attendees. We will have additional prizes throughout and after Discover, so don’t miss out. Onboarding a new product? We can help!
Realizing value in IT Operations Management is key to your success, and our goal is to ensure you can start seeing some of that value soon after a product purchase. In Customer Success, we understand the importance of getting on boarded with new products as quickly as possible. To that end, we have a dedicated Onboarding team that can assist you in the rollout of new products like HPE Service Anywhere and HPE Propel. At the booth, we will demonstrate our approach to onboarding customers using Basecamp, a collaborative SaaS-based workspace that we use for managing onboarding status, project milestones and discussions. The tool is accessible to all members of the project team across HPE, the customer, and any partners involved.
Within Basecamp, we have developed pre-made project templates for implementing new products like HPE Service Anywhere. This allows you to immediately begin the implementation process on a guided path to success. The templates are living documents, evolving with new product releases along with the real world experiences from other customer projects.
In addition to Basecamp, the Customer Onboarding team has developed a “Getting Started with Service Anywhere” guide available in the Service Anywhere Community. The guide provides an overview on the important concepts and processes that Service Anywhere supports. It also points out the important areas to consider when setting up the product for a specific company, as well as tips for implementing some of the more common use cases other customers have encountered.
