By default, the Performance Workbench comes with few predesigned sample dashboard templates for top level elements (such as Storage System, Switch and host) as well as for sub-components (such as HBA Port, Host Disk Drive, Switch Port, etc.). Performance Workbench plots chosen performance metrics based on selected time period in configured graph. User can quickly modify a performance workbench template to monitor the same set of metrics or a completely different set of metrics for the same or similar element.
User can also create and customize performance dashboards for any element or device sub-components that needs to be analyzed.

By default, Performance Workbench can display performance data for the last 7 days and same can be configured to show last 15 days of data. With “Favorites” performance dashboard, user can visualize the performance of important metrics of different elements across the system in one go. User can export a performance workbench template and import to another instance of SOM server.
Performance Workbench can be used by Performance Experts to diagnose specific problems and to troubleshoot device performance.
