Display the return code of CIT feedback loop processing



I have a feedback loop that writes the results (whether failed or success) of the update processing into a text file.


I would like to expand this to include the specific error message on why it failed to perform the update.


On the feedback connector, I have the following script:


if [UpdateDeviceResponse.status] = "SUCCESS" Then

   RetVal = "Device successfully updated"


   RetVal = "Failed to update the device.  Return code is "  + [UpdateDeviceResponse.returnCode]

end if


Since the value of returnCodes are all numbers, I was thinking if there was an equivalent RCtoString function that would display the exact error message for that returnCode.  There's a message field under the UpdateDeviceResponse but that's empty.


Any idea?  If this is not possible, is there anyone out there with a documentation of all the possible returnCodes and their meaning so that I can just include it in my feedback script?


Would appreciate any ideas/thoughts on this one.
