From your environment details I wasn't quite sure - are you running the 32-bit TRIM client on a 64-bit Windows 2008 server? If so, not a supported client OS, so that may be the cause of your crashes. From TRIM7.0.1_Spec.pdf for 188.8.131.526, supported OS for client are:
Windows XP Service Pack 3
Windows Vista SP1 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)
