The full session messages are in attach. Anybody knows what the errors are about.
The backup of all tablespaces is succesfull, but the session completes with errors.
Well, I'd say it's our problem. The DBSM is not getting started, and so the following commands about sbtremove2 failing, etc. would all seem to stim from there not being a database connection by which it can interact with the database (why it's not using the BSM is a question though).
Yeah, this would be one where I'd just take debugs and let X tell me what's going on. Particularly if it's reproducible.
Just set OB2OPTS in the instance config file to get the OB2BAR debugs. And restart the services in debug mode to get the CRS debugs. And start up INET in debug mode on both the client and cell manager. And then run the backup in debug mode of course. I always run 1-500 for DP, but if the backup is actually working, things will get big.
I'll ask the customer to open a call for it. I can't access there site, so can't do any further debugging at the moment. But I didn't find anything on Oracle metalink either and the problem indeed starts when the DBSM can't be started any more.
I'll update the thread when I've got some more news.
