Probably I wasn't clear, sorry for that.
What I meant is that instead of using Post-Exec scripts and complicate them using conditionals, you can use the End Of Session notification to do the task.
When you configure a new End of Session notification, you can set input parameters (ie Session Status) and Value Parameter (ie Completed with Errors) Then you configure a Send Notification which can be Send an Email, a SNMP trap or in your case an External Send Method.
The External Send Method allows you to run a Script located in \bin (windows) and /opt/omni/lbin (HP-UX).
What you can do is set your script to run after and specific Datalist End of Session if no errors reported.
