We are testing the 22.214.171.12445 client. Some users are experiencing problems with User labels. When they double click on a user label that has records attached, the user label properties come up and not the records.
For others, double clicking on user labels works fine and brings up the records.
Does anyone know why we would have this inconsistent behavior between clients?
Also can anyone explain how user labels work? Do they reside in the registry or in sql tables, or somewhere on the c: drive?
Finally, someone in our organization was able to create a single reference to records that are attached to a user label.
Unfortunately, this person has left the orgaization and we do not know how this reference was created.
Does anyone know how to create a reference to records under a user label?
With regards to the double clicking issue, are some of your users opening the full client and are others using TRIM Desktop? There can be a difference in the way records are handled using the double click between the 2 interfaces.

It is possible they are going about accessing user labels in different ways? If you click User Labels from the tools menu then the double-click takes you to the properties. Otherwise if you go into Search->User Labels or the User Label Tray, a double-click executes a search for items associated with the label.
