Send to Mail Recipient logging issue HPTRIM 7.1 1157

When cancelling a Send to Mail recipient it is still being logged as being sent in both the Activities Log and the Communications. Why is this incorrect behaviour occurring.

This behaviour has been noted in previous versions of TRIM (6.2)

Is there anyway this can be prevented from occuring as it is misleading.

Hello Cathy,

 

It's because as soon as the email is moved from HP TRIM to the Outlook Client then it does not have control of the information any more and is assumed sent. But the issue is that its out side the control of TRIM. 

 

If you want that functionality you could use the HP TRIM Form Email with in TRIM and it wont write to the audit log if it is cancelled.

Phil is correct.

Once the email hits Outlook, TRIM doesn't know if it was or wasn't sent.  It has to write the log either way.
