Report Footer limitation

Hi everyone,

I've been asked to design a report that requires me to include a rather long report footer. But when I did a test printing, only a third of the footer was printed. I tried to adjust the position of all the text elements only for the footer to overlap with the main body of the report.

Is there a way for me to meet this requirement? Currently we are using TRIM 7. If this really is a limitation with this version, has it been addressed in version 8?

Thanks

Re: Report Footer limitation

Not to be negative, but the report feature really sucks. You won't be able to create a footer much larger than the default one (which is around 24p if I recall correctly).

For scenarios like this you may need to use crystal reports, SSRS, or an excel macro.

Re: Report Footer limitation

I find it interesting that just about every aspect of Trim over the years has been improved except for reporting.   Reporting is the same since I started working with Trim when it was a Tower product.

HP needs to improve reporting in TRIM.
