HP RM8.1.7760, win 7, SQL 2012, MS Office 2010
Hi, some users after the upgrade from HP TRIM 734 to HP RM8.1 are experiencing this issue when running MS Outlook
What could be the reason for this and how to fix this?

This is not a problem with the client or Outlook really, but one with your backend configuration. What you should try to do:
1) Update the statistics for the SQL database (Schema->Analyze from Enterprise Studio)
2) Stop using the OLE DB Driver. Use the Native SQL 2012 Driver. You'll get better performance and thus reduce the number of timeouts.
3) Increase your dataset timeout. The default is 30 seconds. Bump it up to 5 minutes (a value of 300).
4) Tune your database.
Something is throwing off that query. New statistics, the proper driver, and longer timeouts should get you on the right path. Pull the query out and analyze it, then fix it.
