Permissions in HPE RM8.3, - Profile for user type "Records Manager"

HP RM 8.1.1.7760 in win 7 SQL 2012-R2 upgrading to HPE RM8.3.0.9000 soon;

Hi, (I posted this yesterday to wrong forum :-) )

I am in the process of HPE RM 8.3 testing the user privileges and permissions / accesses for the TRIM (HP) Average user (which is in our case the type "Records Manager" with permissions downgraded to be equivalent as e.g. records Co-Ordinator.

In our DEV environment (HPE RM 8.3 ) the system options for the permissions for user type "Records Manager" looks OK, almost exactly how we have it in the current LIVE system HP RM 8.1.

There are some changes anyway between these two versions 8.1 and 8.3 regarding the permissions for Records manager

However, the permissions I set up for the "Records Manager" in HPE RM 8.3 system options are not reflected in the user's profile at all, not in the DEV environment nor in the Live environment.

As the result, a user cannot save document (Email using "check-in" option in MS Outlook.. "Error: does not have a suitable assignee" or something...

How can we solve this?

What we want to see is the list of permissions in the system options to be equivalent to the list of permissions in the individual user profile

Re: Permissions in HPE RM8.3, - Profile for user type "Records Manager"
Also, big issue here is that this means that the average user would not be able to work in the mixed environment which we will find our selfs for a two days (Client 8.3) and backend 8.1; The permissions and user profiles will not be able to be modified.

E.g. the permission "Can be Records Assigne, although "visible" in the system options , is not ticked / checked in the user individual profile for the "Recoords Manager" when looked through the HPE RM 8.3 client pointing to 8.1 server where the system options are...

How to overcome this?

We must be able to work in the mixed environment for a two and a half days until the Servers are updated on the weekend.

Thanks
