Enterprise Installation

When using the option 'Prepare TRim Context for an Enterprise Installation', I have noticed that even though you select what features you want installed, when you deploy from that installation, those options are not selected.  This ocurrs in build 6.2.4.1240.  Is this a known problem?  Can this be fixed without having to use a newer version of Trim?

Re: Enterprise Installation

Should be fine in that build.

What components exactly?

Are you running the custom msi as a silent install?

e.g.  msiexec /i TRIMContext.msi /qn  ??

If not, it will run like a normal msi package still.

Re: Enterprise Installation

No I wasn't running it in silent mode.  It's strange how after creating an enterprise installation that when running the install (not in silent mode) that the fields are filled out but the correct components are not selected.

Like you said, silent mode seems to work fine.  Still odd behaviour though.

Re: Enterprise Installation

Yep, it has behaved like this for a while now.

The custom MSI's will only follow the customisations correctly if it is run silently. (Which is pretty normal with normal deployment)

Running the MSI manually by double-clicking will not work correctly as you have seen.
