I'm experiencing an issue with revisions when the following save pattern is used
1. Open a document from TRIM using edit
2. Make changes to document
3. Close the document but do not click anything in the "Do you want to save changes" dilaogue box (i.e. leave the box showing).
TRIM checks the document back in as "unchanged".
When "yes" is then click in the "Do you want to save changes" dialogue box, the revised document is placed into Offline Records but is only visible if you navigate to Offline Records on your drive (i.e. it doesn't show in the TRIM Offline Records tray).
I've been able to recreate this consistently now.
We are running TRIM 18.104.22.1680 with Windows7 and Office 2007.
Has anyone else seen this (or are able to recreate it)?
"There have been problems in the past with having offline records on a network drive when there are network issues. What happens is when there is a disconnect, the record then checks back in without any changes.
One way to test if this is an issue is to set the offline records to the local drive and have a user checkout and use documents."
I have changed the Datapaths in the registry and tested and the bug does not appear. Whilst I don't agree that this is acceptable behaviour, it is a "Temporary" work around until HP provides a fix.
