Bulk update of Source record metadata

Hi,

Running Trim Context 6.2.4.1240.  We have several hundred records which need the Source Record data changed (all to the same values).  Is there a way in Trim to do this?  Tagging them still only changes one at a time.

cheers

justin

edit: ignore the bit about Source Record data, they are user defined additional fields.  Is there a way through the Trim GUI to update these, or will an SQL have to suffice?

Re: Bulk update of Source record metadata

You can do this from within the TRIM interface.  Follow these steps:

1) Open TRIM

2) Run your search

3) Tag All

4) Right-click on any record and select Details->Additional Fields (select All Tagged Records when prompted)

5) Modify the value of the UDF you want to change

6) Click Ok, then yes to all

That should be it!

Cheers,

Erik
