32 bit HP TRIM clients (7.1.2.1879) communicate with 64 bit (7.1.2.1879) HP TRIM servers

We have installed 64 bit HP TRIM servers, However we intend to deploy 32 bit HP TRIM clients to individual workstations.

Does this configuration impose an issue in the future where 32 bit TRIM clients communicate with 64 bit TRIM Server configurations ?

My knowledge of TRIM suggests that,

HP TRIM 32-bit clients can work with a HP TRIM 64-bit server and HP TRIM 64-bit clients can work with a HP TRIM 32-bit server.

Although, I am not 100% sure and will request a confirmation ?

It's fine, there's no limtation to what combination of server/client bit versions you can run.

If we have a 32 bit (7.1.2.1879) TRIM server, Can I upgrade to a 64 bit TRIM server (7.1.2.1879) by just running an installable/msi over it.

Or is it recommended to un-install the 32 bit (7.1.2.1879) server components and do a new clean install of 64 bit (7.1.2.1879) ?

You will need to uninstall/reinstall.
