Re: Remove Patchs from a device.

Hi Kevin,

By default, you cannot un-install patches. There is no un-install method for Radia by default. This is as per the design so as to disable un-install of patches once you retire patchs.

Solution

Re: Remove Patchs from a device.

Hi Kevin,

create a new Instance under PATCHMGR.CMETHOD.Create like Manage_Delete Add hide nvdkit &(ZMASTER.ZSYSDRV)&(ZMASTER.ZSYSDIR)patchagt.tkd manage to all methods.

Assign this newley created Client method to the MS06-020 under Contains connections.

Do remember to test this before roll out.

Re: Remove Patchs from a device.

Hi Kevin,

I think the syntax that you have used is wrong

You shoukd use

hide nvdkit &(ZMASTER.ZSYSDRV)&(ZMASTER.ZSYSDIR)patchagt.tkd manage

on for all the method.

If it doesnot work.post the snap shot & the log files.

Re: Remove Patchs from a device.

Hi Kevin,

Do remember that when you retire patches. It automatically removes the patch from all the clients..

Hi Kevin

I am interested to know why you actually wanted to remove MS06-020.

Look forward to your reply
