How Does Radia Deal with Offline Devices?

I have a group setup that contains both Windows XP Desktops and Notebooks. When I run, say a software/hardware inventory scan the job will end in an errored state of some of the systems are offline (Laptops not on the network). Is this status appropriate? Perhaps the radia server should flag a system as offline if it can't ping it, instead of marking the entire job as Failed.

Unfortunately it just fails them and after a time will drop the job entirely.
There is not facility to re-queue them or persist in trying to contact them.
I don't know if you can implement Timers in a CCM environment but if you can consider that approach for laptops.

Thanks for the info, do you know is there any mechanism for customers to support feature requests for OVCCM?
