Error while importing

Anyone seen this error:

“Device Discovery Failed - Reason: Could not mount & bind the Ldap directory - couldn't bind ldap session: Invalid credentials: 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C090334, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 525, vece”

Please advice as how to resolve!

Thanks!

Re: Error while importing

This means that when you attempted to import the credentials you used against your Active Directory/LDAP Server were invalid.

Re: Error while importing

Thanks,

However, those credentials have been tested and are the correct credentials. Is there a particular port that needs to be enabled for HP CAS to communicate with LDAP that we can check? Please advice.

Re: Error while importing

Port 389 is the standard LDAP Port. Your username when connecting via LDAP on Active Directory is typically user@domain.com

A good way to test this is use another LDAP Compliant tool (e.g. http://sourceforge.net/projects/jxplorer/) to connect to your LDAP setup.

Here is an example of our of our test/demo server credentials.

Server: ldap-test
Host: ldap-test.qa.hp.com
User: administrator@qa.hp.com
Base DN: dc=qa,dc=hp,dc=com
Group DN: ou=groups,dc=qa,dc=hp,dc=com
Port: 389
Pass: passwordgoeshere

Re: Error while importing

Solved it, the issue was that the customer was not using his fully qualified login name.
