I notice there are more and more log files in the "C:\Novadigm\ConfigurationServer\log". Consequently, my C drive is running out of space. Please advise 1. how could I change the log file location? 2. can I delete the files in the directory?
I also notice there are similar log files for other modules too, can I change their locations as well?
Could you be a little more specific about the Flush Size parameter because in the file, it says:
"FLUSH_SIZE = Buffer size in bytes that RCS:logger uses to accumulate log messages before writing to the RCS log file. A bigger buffer size will increase performance, but cause a delay in message flushing to the log file."
How could I control the number of files kept in the log directory? Do I need to use other parameters as well?
I understand that you are using OVCCM not OVCM. The documents referred to in this thread are for OVCM RCS not OVCCM. I would have expected that OVCCM being a preconfigured product that log management would be included. If not I would contact Support for advise so as not to casue future support issues. OVCM documentation is available at http://ovweb.external.hp.com/lpe/doc_serv/ An HP Passport is required.
