Client Automation Starter patch Deployment Error

I'm running the free version of HPCAS:
Version: 07.20.000
Build Date: 20080711014530

I get devices discovered and the agents installed but I cannot push patches. Every job I create runs for awhile trying to communicate to the remote agent then goes into Hibernation.

I have the proper Ports open on both the Server and the Clients...I have plenty of Patches (HP Softpaqs)...but cannot deploy.

I have followed the manual by creating inventory schedules, published pathes, created groups (Laptops and Desktops), and created entitlements but nothing gets pushed!

GASP! Help!

As a start; check the CAS guide and ensure that you have configured firewall\routers to allow all the necessary ports.

Both server are on the same LAN and subnet. All systems have their Firewall configured with the proper ports. I know this since I can push the agents and do inventory. The App and nodes are talking...

Jerry,

Are you seeing the agent run on the target systems when you try to push the Softpaqs? If so, zip and post them to the forum. If the Softpaq is not applicable to the system, it will not be pushed to the system.
