Verify the Proxy settings under Configuration->Infrastructure Management->Proxy Settings.
Patch manager uses this configuration for Conenction.
And it will be helpfull if you could send the patch-acquire.log.
Thanks and Regards

Thanks for the prompt response on this,,
we are not using any proxy server in our network, and proxy setting is also disabled on the core,
We are using HPCAE 8.10 ,
PFA requied log file.
If you are not using Proxy can you check this Settings at Configuration>Patch Management>Distribution Settings
Send me the screen shot.
Kindly find the attached screenshot of the distribution settings..
please let me know if anything has to be updated in this distribution setting tab.
The problem look to be your Network,
I can see a successful download of the cab on 20130219, and the same failed on 20130221.
Please make sure the network is stable and u can adjust the "HTTP_RETRIES" and "HTTP_TIMEOUT" in the patch.cfg as per ur network requirements.
please try to download
directly from your browser
Can you open and save it?
Uncheck the "Enable Download of Patch Metadata only" box and save.
Rename the previous Patch-acquire.log file
Try Patch Acquisition and post the new patch-acquire.log file.
we have unchecked the patch metadat option , but still we are facing the same issue.
here we have attached the patchaquire.log for the same.
As AFS suggested do the following.
We are able to download the patch manually from the web browser.
PFA.. for the same.
