Do we need credential to monitor VPN in site scope

Hi Expert,

 

I want to monitor 30 VPN server(30 IP value),

 

Do I need  userid and password for all IP addresses or not to monitor all the server in sitescope.

 

All the IP addresses and sitescope is on same server but different VPN/IP addresses.

You need credentials for each server. If they share username/password you define it once in a credential profile in SiS and use it on each remote server definition.

Can we use a monitor (CPU) wherein we use domain admin credentials to monitor a set of VMs ?

What type of user do I need to monitor a VPN device in SiteScope?

 

Does it need to be a domain user or just an Admin?

 

What if its a VM?

SiS doesn't differentiate Virtual from physical server in terms of OS login. You better use admin or domain admin.
